Hand-picked seeds from Serviceberry trees in the boreal forests of Quebec.

30 per pack.

Seeds need cold stratification. 

Stratification:

  • Place your dried seeds in a ziplock with moist sand, tag the bag with the date and name, then place them in the coldest part of your refrigerator for 60 days.
  • Take them out and place them into room temperature water for 12 hours.
  • Put them back into the ziplock and then place them into your refrigerator for another 60-90 days.

Sowing Instructions:

  1. Sow on a mix of sand and peat, and lightly cover with soil.
  2. Moisten, and cover with transparent plastic wrap to maintain moisture.
  3. Place in a well-lit area.

Seeds should germinate within 1-2 weeks.

To store, dry the seeds and store them in sealed containers in the freezer. Warning, seeds may have short viability. Do not store for more than a year.
